Controlled Parking Zones and Bay Suspensions

ULEZ and the Congestion Charge

The Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) covers all London boroughs and charges non-compliant vehicles a daily fee to drive anywhere within Greater London, 24 hours a day. The separate Congestion Charge applies only within a smaller central London zone, on weekdays and at busier weekend hours. Both charges are based on the vehicle doing the driving, so if you're comparing removal companies, it's a fair question to ask whether their vehicles are ULEZ-compliant — this can affect your final price if it isn't factored in upfront. Flats, Stairs and Lift Access

A large share of London properties are flats rather than houses, which brings its own set of access questions: is there a lift, and is it large enough for furniture? Does the building require advance notice to book a service lift or hold a door open? Flagging this when you book means it's factored into your quote rather than causing delays on the day.
